WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Reporting to the Service Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for directly generating revenue for the road service, workshop, and parts departments in the North Shore area of Montreal (Laval, Laurentians, Lanaudière). They will also be responsible for ensuring that all customers have a high level of satisfaction through after-sales follow-ups.
More specifically, you will assume the following responsibilities:
Revenue generation (service, parts, and rental):
- Develop a new service and parts customer base, in addition to maximizing revenue from the current customer base;
- Coordinate, present, and ratify service agreements for the maintenance of forklift fleets with current and new customers;
- Obtain service agreements for the maintenance of forklifts that have just been sold to customers;
- Visit existing customers, identify repair work, and prepare and submit quotes to customers, while promoting our rental fleet and generating forklift rental contracts;
- Establish and promote promotions aimed at generating sales of parts, attachments, batteries, etc.
- Promote the sale of forklift operator training, as well as technical training for customers who have their own technicians.
- Support the equipment sales team as needed with forklift demonstrations and delivery of sold forklifts.
Customer service:
- Evaluate customers’ forklift fleets and make recommendations to customers based on the condition of their fleet;
- Develop preventive maintenance programs tailored to the needs of current and potential customers;
- Present reports to customers on the costs incurred for their forklift fleet, identifying business opportunities arising from the reports (i.e., replacement of forklifts, adjustments to the maintenance plan, etc.);
- Communicate with customers to ensure their satisfaction with after-sales service;
- Mobilize our team when a customer expresses dissatisfaction so that the situation can be resolved quickly and follow up with the customer to confirm their level of satisfaction;
- Perform any other tasks or projects requested by your immediate supervisor.
DESIRED PROFILE:
Job requirements:
- Live on the North Shore of Montreal or within reasonable distance of this area;
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or sales support;
- Have experience in the forklift industry or a related field (an asset);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite;
- Knowledge of CRM (knowledge of Zoho is an asset);
- Own a vehicle in good condition and have a valid driver’s license;
- Have up-to-date forklift training (an asset).
